Build compliance in-house or use an API?
Building compliance yourself requires more than generating XML. You must implement the Moroccan UBL 2.1 schema and its business rules, integrate XAdES-EPES signatures backed by Barid eSign certificates, manage secure key storage, build transmission to the DGI platform with retry logic, archive invoices and proofs for ten years, and keep up with every change in regulations and technical schemas.
It is feasible, and sometimes the right choice when billing is your core product. But the true cost is not initial development: it is the ongoing maintenance of a regulatory component whose specifications are evolving. An API removes this burden, and the 499 MAD excl. VAT monthly cost of the Pro plan compares favorably to recurring engineering days rather than a one-off project.

View quickstartYes. Pricing is listed in Moroccan dirhams (MAD) excluding tax (HT): the Pro plan is 499 MAD HT per month, with Moroccan VAT added to the invoiced amount. The Enterprise plan is quoted based on volume.
